How I overcame the fear of failure?

“Remember your dreams and fight for them. You must know what you want from life. There is just one thing that makes your dreams become impossible: the fear of failure”.

~Paulo Coelho – The Alchemist

The idea of having a blog and be a voice for women and position myself sounded a genius idea.  However, in reality, it was a completely different story. Why? Because one of the biggest blocks stopping me from stepping into my light was completely exposed … my FEAR!! In this post, I will share with you how I overcome my fear.

The more I thought about starting a blog, the more I got thrills and chills… Fear was on the other end of reality saying: “Hold on! Calm down! Do you think that you have what it takes? They are so many out there: Tony Robbins, Les Brown, Brian Tracy, Mel Robbins, etc. Come on, don’t fool yourself! You should know better than that. They will laugh and make fun of you, especially the people you know”.

I’m telling you, my fear was beating me down.  I felt like I couldn’t win the fight and it was checkmate for sure! Then the thought occurred to me: How could I inspire others to follow their dreams if I remained paralyzed by fear. I had to make the decision between listening to this False Evidence Appearing Real (fear) or yielding to my calling and passion for helping others. The choice was not necessarily easy but it was CLEAR and SIMPLE.

Frankly, I had to get that noisy little monkey off my back and shut him up because I was determined to do this meaningful thing that I  loved. I can’t tell you just how gratifying it is to have an impact on people’s lives. That alone would have been reason enough to start this blog. Realizing that I had to lead by example and be a live demonstration of what I was preaching gave me the final push I needed.  Now I’ve started, and am poised to help as many as I could, to pursue love, health, wealth and happiness. By sharing my own life experiences; my journey and breakthroughs, in the hope that altogether they would help you create a better life for yourself.

This blog is dedicated to all the people who believed in me, inspired and encouraged me to create and share my story.   My promise is to serve you with the best of me and I hope you know that though distance separates, wherever we find ourselves in this world, through Rajaa Belle we can remain forever connected.
